Huawei ICT Competition

The MICT SETA took part in the Huawei ICT Competition 2024–2025, with our Senior Manager for 4IR, Gugu Sema, joining a prestigious panel featuring industry leaders from Kenya and Nigeria.

The conversation centered on the development of digital talent and the role of education and partnerships in positioning Africa as a global player in the tech space.

During the panel discussion, Sema highlighted the importance of 4IR-aligned skills development, the potential of public-private partnerships to accelerate impact, and the continent's opportunity to address local challenges through innovation.
